Share CFDs
Trade selected company price movements through CFDs
Take long or short positions on approved listed companies without acquiring the underlying shares. Each contract follows the price of a reference equity and its market session.
About share CFDs
Price exposure to individual listed companies
A share represents ownership in a company. A share CFD is a separate cash settled derivative whose value is linked to that company share price. The CFD provides no ownership, voting rights or direct entitlement to dividends. BARS 8 may make cash adjustments when the underlying company completes a dividend or other corporate action.
Share prices can respond to earnings, forecasts, sector conditions, management decisions, regulation, economic data and broad market sentiment. Company specific events can cause sharp gaps when the reference exchange reopens.

Corporate actions including dividends, splits, mergers, rights issues and delistings can lead to cash or position adjustments.
Overnight financing applies according to the current schedule and may differ for long and short positions.
Short positions can face borrow restrictions, additional costs or forced closure when the underlying share becomes difficult to borrow.
