About commodities
Markets shaped by physical supply and demand
Commodities include raw materials and agricultural products used across the global economy. Precious metals can respond to interest rates, currency movements and demand for defensive assets. Energy contracts react to production, transport, inventories and geopolitical events. Agricultural prices also reflect weather, harvest expectations and seasonal demand.
BARS 8 commodity CFDs settle in cash and provide price exposure without ownership or delivery of the physical asset. Contract size, reference market, expiry treatment and financing differ by instrument.
